Stretching On Reformer

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates gives you the perfect blend of support and challenge, helping you move with strength, confidence and incredible precision. It’s Stott Pilates at its best. In one-to-one sessions, the reformer guides and challenges you safely, helping you build core strength, improve posture and move more efficiently.

As a certified Advanced Stott Pilates instructor, I teach a method that’s anatomically based, evidence-informed, and designed for safe, functional movement. My classes are suitable for all ages and fitness levels, no previous Pilates experience needed. Stott Pilates restores natural spinal alignment, activates your deep stabilising muscles, and builds balanced strength throughout the body. With a focus on posture, core control and breath, it’s modern, intelligent…and genuinely addictive. Most clients walk out feeling taller, lighter, and already excited for their next session.

Reformer is ideal whether you’re recovering from injury, boosting athletic performance, or simply wanting to feel stronger and more at home in your body. Every programme is tailored to your body, your goals and your energy, so you progress safely, effectively and at a pace that feels good for you.

And beyond the physical benefits, Reformer Pilates has a way of making you feel truly amazing in your own body. You’ll surprise yourself with what you’re capable of, and you’ll build a sense of confidence and self-esteem that carries far beyond the studio. My aim is for you to leave every session feeling empowered; stronger in every sense of the word.

What to expect

In your first Reformer session at The Pilates Room, we’ll start with a gentle postural and movement analysis to understand how your body is working, what feels strong, what feels tight, and what needs a little extra support.

From there, I’ll build a personalised programme of 50-minute classes tailored to your goals, your lifestyle and the way your body moves. A reformer programme that naturally progresses as your strength, mobility and confidence build over the coming weeks. Every class is designed just for you, so you can grow at a pace that feels supportive, encouraging and genuinely enjoyable.

And a quick practical tip...don't forget to wear something comfy and stretchy that you can move easily in, with no zips on the back to protect the reformer. A pair of grippy socks will help you feel secure on the equipment.

Reformer Pilates classes are 1-2-1.
