Injury Recovery Pilates

If you’re dealing with pain, stiffness or an injury, you deserve movement that feels safe, supported and genuinely doable. These sessions are designed to help you rebuild strength, confidence and ease in your body, without pressure or overwhelm, so you can feel in control again.

With specialist Stott Pilates training in injuries and special populations, I work with clients of all ages and abilities, from people easing everyday aches to athletes who want to stay strong, balanced and injury-resistant. Whether you’re a runner, cyclist, golfer or someone who simply wants to move without discomfort, we focus on exactly what your body needs to recover, feel strong, supported and capable again.

I regularly support clients managing:

  • back pain

  • joint issues

  • hypermobility

  • post-surgery recovery

  • chronic pain conditions

  • overuse injuries or movement imbalances

  • stiffness from training or long hours sitting

Every session is fully personalised and grounded in the principles of Stott Pilates, an anatomically based method designed to support and enhance your body’s natural biomechanics. We start gently, restoring stability, mobility and breathwork, and then build into deeper strength work as your body becomes ready. It’s thoughtful, progressive and quietly challenging in all the right ways.

Above all, my goal is to help you move better, feel steadier and trust your body again. I want you to feel empowered, confident and genuinely amazed by what your body can do, whether you’re recovering from injury or striving to perform at your best.

What to expect

In your first session, we’ll start with a gentle check-in to see how your body is moving, where it feels strong, and where it might need a bit of extra care. From there, we’ll build a personalised programme using a blend of Mat Pilates, Reformer and small equipment, all tailored to your body, your goals, and what makes you feel inspired to move.

No two bodies are the same, especially when you’re recovering from an injury, so we’ll keep checking in and adjusting your programme along the way. That way, you’re always progressing safely and staying on track toward recovery, at a pace that feels just right for you.

Classes are 50 minutes long and designed to help you feel more in control, stronger, and confident in your body. You’ll be supported every step of the way, and hopefully leave feeling empowered — and maybe even a little amazed at what your body can do!
